This project involved an analysis of i-Ready reading and math data for students in grades 2–6, comparing fall and winter scores. The analysis identified academic strengths, areas of need, and trends across grade levels and student subgroups, including ENL and special education students. Based on the findings, targeted recommendations were developed to support student achievement in both subjects. Reading strategies focused on three key areas: phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension. Math recommendations were aligned with the U.S. Department of Education’s Educator’s Practice Guide: Assisting Students Struggling with Mathematics in the Elementary Grades. Additional suggestions addressed Family Engagement, Professional Development, PLCs, and staff training opportunities.
